Emma has been begging to carve pumpkins all week. Finally on Thursday night she started setting everything up on the kitchen table and we got into it. The next day, Emma realized that if we had carved the little guys any earlier, they would not have made it to Halloween. Even so, these photos were taken on Halloween Day and they're already showing signs of succumbing to the elements. We had a very warm Halloween! Every year we take out the seeds as if we are going to roast them and every year they hang around, waiting for someone to clean them, but nobody ever does and then we end up throwing them away. I give them one more day.
